I think I’ve been at this place in the first two photos. Do you had to drive down a very steep dirt road to get there? It was in the pirate bay or something similar!
Yeah! It was a hotel/hostel owned by a family who actually owns like 2 other ones on different parts of the island. It’s right near the lagoon hiking trail.
Ometepe is a fascinating island worth spending a few days on. I’d like to go back and get to know the people more. There is a program that is trying to give a computer to every kid on the island.
